
Emily Sickbert-Bennett, PhD, MS, associate professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases and director of UNC Medical Center Infection Prevention, offered tips on WRAL News for parents as they make plans to send kids back to school. Sickbert-Bennet suggested that parents should start looking for the best mask now, and that kids should practice wearing it at home.
“The best mask is a comfortable mask that you’re willing to wear for prolonged periods of time,” she said in the news story. “Practice wearing it at home before you go back to school.”
