
Emily Sickbert-Bennett, PhD, MS, associate professor of infectious diseases and director of infection prevention at UNC Medical Center, emphasized to WRAL news that prevention strategies are still necessary for safety as stay-at-home order eases.
“It is still very important to physical distance ourselves from other people,” she said, and “use masks in public because we know that in certain settings it is hard to maintain the physical distance in a predictable way.”
