Adaora Adimora, MD, MPH, professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases, co-authored a six-paper series in The Lancet focused on racial, sexual, and gender minorities continuing to be affected by HIV at significantly higher rates than white people, a disparity also reflected in the COVID-19 pandemic.
