About
Dr. Ivory specializes in the treatment of patients with breast cancer with an emphasis on partnering with patients in shared decision making. Her practice is currently located at UNC Main Hospital and Hillsborough locations. Her research interests include addressing factors which contribute to disparities in cancer mortality and devising innovative strategies to optimize clinical trial participation. She is currently a co-investigator on a study to determine site-level predictors and stakeholder perceptions of differences in Black participant recruitment to clinical trials. Dr. Ivory also sits on the medical advisory board for multiple patient-centered organizations including the Promise Fund of Florida and serves as a workgroup member for the American Cancer Society National Breast Cancer Roundtable.
