About
Mary Dunn is a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who joined the GU Oncology team in 2010. She works in a multidisciplinary role, providing care to Urology and Medical Oncology patients with genitourinary malignancies. Her clinical interests include Survivorship and Palliative Care.
Mary is the director of the Testicular Cancer Survivorship Program and the Co-Director of the von-Hippel Lindau Comprehensive Clinical Care Center. She is involved in several professional organizations including serving on the board of the NC Triangle Oncology Nursing Society; co-founder and board member of the NC Triangle Chapter of the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network; and is involved on a national level with the American Urological Association and the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network. She also serves as Adjunct Faculty in the UNC School of Nursing and precepts nurse practitioner students. Mary received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Duke University.
