Allison Williams, a current Research Specialist, has been at the MLI Tissue Procurement and Cell Culture Core since 2015. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of North Carolina Central in 2012. Additionally, she received her master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2014. Her daily roles within the Core include dissecting/isolating human lung epithelial cells, quality control, maintaining primary epithelial cell cultures, and preparing samples for electrophysiology studies and histology.
