Husein Syed has been a Laboratory Assistant at the MLI Tissue Procurement and Cell Culture Core since the summer of 2021. He is an undergraduate student at UNC – Chapel Hill pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Following graduation, he hopes to attend medical school. His daily roles within the Core include maintaining primary epithelial cell cultures, restocking laboratory supplies, and general lab maintenance.
