Despite the challenges in the past year, Meg has been a beacon of hope as a mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, peer and provider. Seven years ago, she recognized the value that CenteringPregnancy would bring to the community. “I wanted to have it at UNC because we are an academic medical center. If the evidence tells me that this model of care improves outcomes, then I want it to be available for families here, ” said Meg.
From the beginning of the pandemic, Meg anticipated the needs of our Centering patients’ and implemented virtual CenteringPregnancy sessions, which has been a great success.
