Horizons Program · East Tennessee State University Visit![]() The Horizons Program welcomed clinicians from East Tennessee State University in February, hosting a collaborative visit focused on improving care for pregnant and postpartum patients navigating substance use disorders as they transition from incarcerated settings. By convening partners in North Carolina, the Horizons team created space for a meaningful exchange of clinical insights, shared experiences and practical approaches to care. Hosting opportunities like this reflects Horizons’ commitment to advancing knowledge, strengthening partnerships and supporting coordinated, compassionate care for a complex patient population. |
OB/GYN Administrative Staff Volunteer at Diaper Bank![]() OB/GYN faculty and administrative staff volunteered with the Diaper Bank of North Carolina in Hillsborough, supporting an organization that provides essential resources to individuals and families across the state. In 2024, volunteers wrapped 24,150 diapers, supporting 483 babies, and collected and donated more than 421 hygiene items to support community programs. This work reflects a shared commitment to meeting basic needs and promoting the health and well-being of families across North Carolina. |
