Expertscape-Ranked SOM Faculty

Expertscape identifies the top individuals with specialized biomedical expertise across a vast spectrum of specific fields worldwide. This Expertscape Database features School of Medicine Faculty that have been ranked in the Top 20 of their respective fields in hopes of 1) helping patients seek knowledgeable experts to address their needs, and 2) showcase the expertise in our School.

Expertscape also Ranks UNC Medical Center as an "All-Around Expert Medical Center" with rankings for all 21 categories of specialities. For more information please visit the Expertscape Website.

Expertscape-ranked faculty can be identified in three different ways. To search for experts by UNC Department / Center Affiliations, please choose a unit from the available options. A keyword search is also available that will identify a listed expert if their profile contains the keyword listed. The Expert Categories search capability allows users to identify experts in broad topic areas of biomedical research and healthcare relevant to the UNC School of Medicine.
