Dr. Smith is a urologic oncologist who treats bladder and prostate cancer. She is an expert in patient-centered outcomes research, patient-reported outcomes, and patient engagement in bladder cancer. She is the co-PI for a PCORI pragmatic trial in BCG refractory bladder cancer, has received several PCORI Engagement Awards, and has been funded by an AHRQ K08 grant that integrates patient-reported outcomes into post-cystectomy care through mobile health technology.
