My clinical research focus has been thermal injury in both combat casualty and civilian populations and experience with several multi-center clinical trials. In those clinical trials new burn products were tested as well as transfusion practices were examined in burn patients. I have some limited research experience in regenerative medicine. I would love to expand research focus in areas of resuscitation, inhalation injury and acute kidney injury in burn patients. Also have an interest in studying immunology as it relates to injury in burn and trauma.
