Broadly, I seek to interrogate the intersection of pediatric endocrine clinical care and sociocultural understandings and experiences of sex and gender to identify potential harms and areas for improvement in current clinical care practices. My work is transdisciplinary and combines research approaches from clinical medicine, bioethics, and social medicine. My current research focuses on understanding how best to promote the psychosocial well-being of female children with early puberty. Through a series of research studies, I aim to develop a medical decision-making tool that provides an evidenced-based approach to guide the care of early female puberty.
