I am an Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology at the University of North Carolina, specializing in the treatment of central nervous system, head and neck, and pediatric cancers. My areas of research interest include targeting brain metastases with stereotactic radiosurgery in combination with systemic therapies; studying methods to enhance response to immunotherapies in the treatment of head and neck malignancies; and evaluating circulating and imaging biomarkers to assess treatment response and toxicities of therapies for CNS and head and neck malignancies.

Topics:
–brain metastasis, radiosurgery (SRS)
–immunotherapy for recurrent head and neck cancer
–MRI biomarkers for radiation necrosis and other radiation-related toxicity following radiotherapy to the brain
–circulating biomarkers for head and neck cancer treatment response and assessing recurrence
