My research program incorporates informatics and data science approaches to tackle mechanistic and clinically oriented questions about neurodegeneration in the human brain. The overarching goal of my research program is to advance the mechanistic understanding of neurodegeneration, while also contributing to the development of diagnostic, prognostic, and stratification biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases (primarily AD and PD). To achieve these goals, my lab analyses neuroimaging, fluid biomarker, genetic and phenotypical data utilizing a range of advanced analytical techniques, including machine and deep learning along with complex network analytical approaches.
