My research focuses on the development and dissemination of novel machine learning and artificial intelligence
techniques for medical image analysis, with 300+ peer-reviewed papers published in the field. I have created a variety of novel
computational methods, including image preprocessing, motion correction, image segmentation, topology correction, surface
reconstruction, registration, parcellation, modeling, prediction, measurement, mapping, feature extraction, multimodal fusion, and atlas building. Meanwhile, I have publicly released a set of impactful image computating tools and atlases, which have been widely adopted in the community.
