Diabetes clinical research. Our group conducts single center and multicenter industry and investigator-initiated studies in type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, atypical forms of diabetes, and in obesity aimed at improved treatment, prevention, or cure. We support various epidemiological studies aimed at comparative effectiveness and better understanding the etiology of diabetes and its complications. We support basic investigators in translational efforts towards human application of technology or science.
