I am an interventional cardiologist with a focus on catheter-based procedures to treat coronary and peripheral artery disease, pulmonary embolism, and cardiogenic shock. In addition to my clinical practice, I am an active physician-scientist with research interest in developing pharmacogenomic strategies to optimize the efficacy and safety of antithrombotic therapies in the treatment of cardiovascular disease. I serve as an Associate Program Director for the general and interventional cardiology fellowships and as the Medical Director of the UNC Chest Pain Center.
