Louise Henderson, PhD, is a cancer epidemiologist and health services researcher whose work focuses on increasing the benefits and reducing the harms of cancer screening and outcomes. Her research includes the comparative effectiveness of emerging imaging technologies, assessing the impact of comorbidities on cancer screening, and reducing disparities across the cancer care continuum. Dr. Henderson leads two NIH funded cancer screening initiatives: the Carolina Mammography Registry (CMR) and the North Carolina Lung Screening Registry (NCLSR).
