I have worked collaboratively with many different groups of scientists and clinicians on a variety of projects. The focus of my research is on low dose, high quality pediatric imaging. I am currently working with the Pediatric Airways group on a project to do predictive modelling of the pediatric airway and with the Cystic Fibrosis Group on a project looking at long term CT findings in Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia. I am also working with a group from NC State and UNC looking at the geometry of adolescent porcine knees to help predict knee injury in children and to improve ACL repair surgeries in adolescents. In the past I have collaborated with groups on projects as diverse as Pediatric exposures to air pollution in Mexico City, on imaging the distribution of perfluorocarbon liquid in felines and CT scanning rates in pediatric patients in the Emergency Room.
