We are interested in understanding how protein dynamics and allostery mediate crosstalk between stress response pathways in biology and disease. We use a range of biophysical and biochemical tools to address outstanding questions in the areas of intrinsically disordered proteins, enzymes, and therapeutic strategies for targeting dynamic systems. Current areas of research focus include: transcriptional regulation; alteration of signaling under hypoxia; tissue-specific metabolic adaptations; and development of new methods for controlling angiogenesis.
