Pediatrics Track

With support from the Ho/Chiang Foundation, the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship started a pediatrics track in 2021. This track emphasizes flexibility to support each fellow’s learning objectives.
One specific program goal is developing future hospice and palliative medicine leaders in various areas: clinical care, education, quality improvement and research. Additionally, our faculty and interprofessional teams collaborate to mentor fellows’ development in the pediatrics track.
Some of the pediatric clinical rotation settings include the UNC Children’s Complex Care Clinic, Transitions kids, Pediatric PM&R, the NC Children’s Hospital, and the UNC Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program. See the full Clinical Rotation track below.
