Dr. Melissa Bauserman, Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine has been invited to join the 2022-23 Women ADVANCE Leadership program. She will be one of a diverse and brilliant group of researchers, clinicians, teachers, and leaders from across the University.
Women ADVANCE Leadership is a workshop series to encourage and support mid-career faculty seeking to enhance their skills and advance to senior leadership, research, and teaching positions. Participants join a multidisciplinary cohort of mid-career faculty to attend a monthly Women ADVANCE Leadership workshop. Each workshop includes self-reflection activities (sent ahead of time), interactive discussion, and small group activities.
The program showcases respected and accomplished women in academic leadership, who contribute pre-recorded interviews sharing their stories, challenges, and successes. Each speaker will join a Women ADVANCE Leadership workshop for live Q&A with participants. Featured speakers represent a breadth of academic leadership roles and disciplines.
