The American College of Rheumatology recently held their annual Convergence conference in Philadelphia, PA. Members of the UNC Pediatric Rheumatology division co-authored 6 research abstracts:

  • Renal Response Outcomes of North American Youth with Proliferative Lupus Nephritis Treated with the EuroLupus versus NIH Cyclophosphamide Dosing Regimen
  • Clinical Characteristics and Outcomes of North American Youth with Lupus Nephritis Requiring Dialysis Treated with Cyclophosphamide
  • Assessing the Number of Children Evaluated for Recurrent Fevers During the COVID-19 Pandemic in North America
  • A Systemic Autoinflammatory Syndrome Caused by NEMO Exon 5 Skipping

In addition, Eveline Wu, MD, MSCR was invited to moderate the scientific session “Development of Proposed Classification Criteria for Pediatric Chronic Nonbacterial Osteomyelitis and Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis”. Dr. Wu is a member of an international group of experts developing and validating classification criteria for pediatric CNO, an initiative endorsed and funded jointly by ACR and EULAR.
