The UNC School of Medicine’s Academy of Educators will recognize several Pediatrics faculty members and trainees at the 2026 Alan W. Cross Evening of Scholarship. Established in 2006, the Academy of Educators (AOE) promotes excellence in teaching, supports faculty development, and advances innovation in medical education across Chapel Hill and the state.
This year’s honorees represent a strong commitment to teaching, mentorship, and educational scholarship within the Department of Pediatrics. Their achievements reflect both individual excellence and the collaborative culture that defines UNC’s learning environment.
The awards recognize contributions across multiple areas, including foundational teaching, mentorship, educational scholarship, and patient-centered, effective care. Additional information about each award can be found at www.med.unc.edu/aoe/awards/award-overview.
Congratulations to all the honorees for their inspiring work and continued impact!
