Misty Good, MD, MS

Misty Good, MD, MS, Associate Professor and Division Chief of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, has been invited to give the Gerald Merenstein Lecture at the AAP National Conference and Exhibition (NCE) to share her research in neonatal nutrition and intestinal health, and how research in this area has informed current best practices and recent innovations in clinical care. This year, the AAP NCE will take place October 20-24, 2023, in Washington, DC.

The Merenstein Lecture was established in 2009 to honor Dr. Gerald Merenstein. After a long career in the U.S. Army, Dr. Merenstein practiced at University of Colorado, where he was Chair of Pediatrics and Senior Associate Dean for Education. Along the way, he served as chair of SONPM (then Section on Perinatal Pediatrics) and as chair of Committee on the Fetus and Newborn. He was widely loved and respected as a consummate educator, outstanding clinician, exemplary leader, and just all-around great colleague.

The lectureship is one of two named lectureships at the AAP fall meeting and seeks to recognize section members that showcase Dr. Merenstein’s qualities. Recent Merenstein speakers have included Andrea Duncan, John Zupancic, and Mark Mercurio.

Congratulations Dr. Good!
