Dr. Marie Lirette joined the Department of Pediatrics as an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Emergency Medicine on August 28, 2025. Dr. Lirette attended Wesley College, Melbourne, Australia for her International Baccalaureate and earned her medical degree from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom in 2014. She completed her pediatric residency at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada where she remained to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine in 2023. Dr. Lirette earned a Masters in Healthcare Quality and Safety from Harvard University in 2024. Most recently, Dr. Lirette has been working as a pediatric emergency medicine physician at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney, Australia.
