Samantha Schilling, MD, MSHP was promoted to Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of General Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, effective September 1, 2025. Dr. Schilling has been a faculty member in Pediatrics since September 2015. Dr. Schilling completed her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth University and earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed a pediatric residency and subsequent fellowship in Child Abuse at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Schilling’s research focuses on mechanisms to prevent child abuse. Specifically, the impact parenting programs can have increasing parental self-efficacy, effectiveness, and reducing severe discipline and abuse.
