Neal deJong, MD, MPH was promoted to Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of General Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, effective October 1, 2025. Dr. deJong has been a faculty member in Pediatrics since July 2015. Dr. de Jong earned his medical degree and remained to completed his pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins University. A Primary Care Research fellowship was completed at UNC Chapel Hill. His research focuses on the care these children and families receive as they balance between their primary care and specialty care physicians, such as effective long-term plans of care for children with chronic conditions.
