Amy Levenson, MD, Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology and Vice Chair of Education, has been selected by the American Pediatric Association to join the National Academy of Distinguished Educators in Pediatrics (NADEP) as a member of its third cohort.

NADEP is an academy of medical educators dedicated to advancing pediatric educators, promoting educational scholarship, and strengthening pediatric educational programs for learners across the full continuum of medical training. As an honorary service academy, it strives to cultivate a broad and connected community of pediatric educators who work together to elevate the impact of pediatric education on improving health outcomes. NADEP’s efforts are grounded in a commitment to fostering collaboration and engagement, supporting high‑value pediatric education that is high quality, learner-centered, and cost‑effective, and promoting both educational scholarship and ongoing innovation.
