Dr. Wood joined the Department of Pediatrics as faculty in the Division of Emergency Medicine on September 1, 2021. Dr. Wood received a BS in Nutrition and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2010 and received her degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015. She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughter in June 2021.

We are excited to announce that William Mills, Jr., MD MPH has been named and accepted the role of Director of Medical Student Education in Pediatrics and the Course Co-director for the Care of Specific Populations (CSP) Course in the School of Medicine.

Daniel Park, MD, Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, was promoted to Associate Professor of Pediatrics as of May 1, 2021. Dr. Park has been a faculty member in Pediatric Emergency Medicine since 2016.
