Visiting Student Calendar 2024-25

The University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics accepts Domestic Visiting Student applications through VSAS/VSLO. We work closely with the Department of Student Affairs to review the applications and to notify students of their status.

International Visiting Students should contact the Department of Student Affairs via email at visitingstudent@med.unc.edu to inquire about application process.

Spring Term 2024

• Domestic Visiting Student Application Cycle (November 1, 2023 – January 2, 2024)
• International Visiting Student Application Cycle (November 1 – December 1, 2023)
  • Block 11: January 2 – 26, 2024
  • Block 12: January 29 – February 23, 2024
  • Block 1: February 26 – March 22, 2024
  • Block 2: March 25 – April 19, 2024
  • Block 3: April 22 – May 17, 2024
  • Block 4: May 20 – June 14, 2024

Fall Term 2024

• Domestic Visiting Student Application Cycle (May 1 – June 21, 2024)
  • Block 5: June 24 – July 19, 2024
  • Block 6: July 22 – August 16, 2024
  • Block 7: August 19 – September 13, 2024
  • Block 8: September 16 – October 11, 2024
  • Block 9: October 14 – November 8, 2024
  • Block 10: November 11 – December 6, 2024

Note: The Department of Pediatrics rotation dates are firm, we currently cannot honor off cycle dates.
