The Initiative is comprised of three parts. Our Laboratory Research team conducts research in several areas aiming to better understand food allergy and develop approaches for its treatment. In our manufacturing facility, UNC FARM, we produce investigational drug product used for food allergy oral immunotherapy and sublingual immunotherapy trials as well as the flours that we use in food challenges. The Clinical Trials team conducts food allergy research with human subjects.
