Coastal Carolina Children’s Research Initiative
The Coastal Carolina Children’s Research Initiative (C3RI) is engaging patients, community clinicians, and other partners in the Southeastern corner of North Carolina to build pediatric-focused research capacity in these communities. This work is critically funded by the UNC-Novant Health Research Advisory Council. The initial focus of the C3RI is on a funded pediatric asthma research program, a significant health burden in Coastal Carolina, in the hopes of bridging the gap in asthma care on the coast.
