We investigate the development of cortical structure-function coupling in children longitudinally scanned at 1, 2, 4, and 6 years old. We found that regional patterns of structure-function coupling in early childhood that were consistent with adult patterns.

Meta-Analyses of Genome-Wide Association Studies for Postpartum Depression

November 10, 2023
In the largest analysis of postpartum depression (PPD) genetics, we have provided estimates of the genetic contribution to this debilitating disorder. Also, we have shown that PPD has similar genetics to other psychiatric traits. Lastly, PPD associated genetic regions may affect neurons also targeted recently approved therapeutics specifically for PPD...

Prenatal stress unmasks behavioral phenotypes in genetic mouse models of neurodevelopmental disorders

November 10, 2023
Two-hit models of neurodevelopmental disorders have the power to reveal underlying vulnerability that may not be detected in studies employing only genetic or environmental alterations. In this review, we summarize existing literature that investigates detrimental interactions between prenatal stress and genes associated with neurodevelopmental disorders, with a focus on behavioral...
