Summary Statement

Dr. Flicek is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the UNC Department of Psychiatry, where her clinical roles include psychiatric consultation on the Inpatient Psychiatry Consultation Liaison Service for patients who are hospitalized on a medical or surgical service, as well as outpatient psychiatric consultation in integrated and collaborative care models.  She has an interest in expanding mental health access through the collaborative care model as well as supporting patients during their oncology care.  Dr. Flicek attended the University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate training and Texas A&M College of Medicine for her medical degree.  She moved to North Carolina and completed residency in General Psychiatry and fellowship training in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at UNC Hospitals.  Dr. Flicek and her husband, Greg, enjoy traveling and going on road trips with their dog.  She enjoys competing in half-marathons and triathlons.
