Nick Ma is a fourth-year psychiatry resident at UNC Chapel Hill. Throughout college and medical school, Nick developed an interest in philosophy spanning ethics, existentialism, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of science. In residency, he has engaged in discussions and projects involving philosophical and ethical issues related to psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, the biology underlying psychiatric diagnosis and treatment, and the importance of philosophy in psychiatric education and practice.
