Congratulations to Brooke Curro, RN, Nurse Manager, and Char-Norie Green, CN IV and their team for receiving their Heart of Carolina Care Campaign Award. This award was presented by UNC Health Care to the group at the regular monthly staff meeting on Thursday, June 6, 2013. The group was also treated to pizza and dessert.
The Heart of Carolina Care Campaign was held in February 2013 to encourage units to either meet or exceed their patient satisfaction goals. February has historically been a challenging month for patient satisfaction. 5 East has consistently exceeded their patient satisfaction goals since opening, remaining in the 99th percentile.
