On Wednesday, June 18, 2013, at the UNC Health Care Department Heads Meeting, Melissa Friend, PA-C, was one of this year’s recipients of the Plus People Awards. This honor is presented to UNC Health Care employees for their outstanding performance and service.
The Plus People Awards were established to recognize people who exemplify the characteristics of one or more of the pillars of Commitment to Caring. This honor is a tribute to Melissa’s positive attitude she brings to her job, the high quality of her work, and her concern for all the people she serves.
