The UNC SICU was one of only 30 ICUs in the nation to receive this recognition. Despite two years of the pandemic and limited resources, the SICU team rallied and are now recognized for their incredible effort. This is the 4th consecutive designation for SICU, and advancement to gold! Our surgeons, staff, and team members are very proud to work with such professionals and continue our commitment and support for them.
