Dr. Mildred Kwan’s and Dr. Renae Boerneke’s Proposal to Address Inaccurate Penicillin Allergy Labeling is Accepted by UNC IHQI Scholar’s Program

The goal of the physicians’ project is to reduce broad spectrum antibiotics through the use of outpatient penicillin allergy assessments.

Dr. Kwan is collaborating with Dr. Boerneke (project lead) on the program, which will be supported by the UNC Institute for Healthcare Quality Improvement (IHQI) Scholars program, from September 1, 2020, to August 1st, 2021.
