The Carolinas Fellows Collaborative is a biannual meeting with the summer gathering held at Wake Forest and the winter meeting held in rotation at the other four institutions.
The program is focused on promoting excellence in clinical care, enhancing scholarship in rheumatology, and networking among fellowship trainees.
The 2023 symposium was led by the UNC Thurston Arthritis Research Center’s Dr. Rumey Ishizawar, Associate Professor of Medicine, and Director of the UNC Rheumatology Fellowship Program.
Faculty from the UNC Thurston Arthritis Research Center and the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology as well as other Divisions (Hematology, Nephrology, Pathology, Pulmonary and Pediatric Rheumatology) within the UNC School of Medicine presented engaging, dynamic, and informative lectures and workshops.
Support for this meeting comes from the UNC Division of Rheumatology Allergy and Immunology and the North Carolina Rheumatology Association (NCRA), for which we are very grateful.
