There are several subtypes of bladder cancer and each behaves differently, but the most common subtype of bladder cancer is “urothelial” cancer. An older term is “transitional cell” cancer.
More than 60,000 people are diagnosed with kidney cancer in the United States each year, both men and women, although men are diagnosed more often.
Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer of men in the United States with over 200,000 new cases diagnosed each year. Prostate cancer can only develop in males, as the prostate gland is not present in women.
The incidence of testicular cancer in the United States is 5/100,000 men resulting in approximately 8,400 cases per year.
