Susan is an adult Nurse Practitioner and clinical research coordinator. She has been with the ACTU since May 2006. Her research interests include HIV/Hepatitis C co-infection, treatment-naive/treatment-inexperienced studies, and acute HIV infection. She is also involved with industry studies addressing HIV treatment resistance.

David is Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and the ACTU's Clinical Quality Program Manager. He has been with the ACTU since 2001. His research interests include Naïve, Complication and Prevention studies. He also coordinates the Hepatitis C/HIV Co-infection studies. David works at the UNC, Durham and Wake County sites. He represents the unit nationally in the ACTG network leadership as Chair of the Site Management and Clinical Care Committee, as well as serving as Field Representative/Mentor for ACTG studies.

Donna is a clinical research coordinator who has been with the unit since 2004. Her interest includes working with ARV naïve participants.
