What is Project ECHO?
The CGWEP is a HUB partner with the University of New Mexico’s Project ECHO program. In this partnership, we provide telementoring via Zoom that gather groups of healthcare professionals to problem solve.
This instructional model uses an ‘all-teach, all-learn’ format that isn’t a webinar. Instead, it offers an interactive environment for sharing tough cases and systems improvements. A short, 15-minute didactic kicks off the telementoring session, followed by questions and answers, with the bulk of time spent on case discussions. This is a forum to develop community with other providers and solve problems together!
2022 UNC Geriatrics for Primary Care Providers ECHO Series
Responding to the expressed needs of primary care providers in the UNC Provider Network for added expertise in caring for their geriatric patients, the Center for Aging and Health and the Division of Geriatric Medicine presented a six-month Project ECHO series.
