UNC will have a big role in a new National Institutes of Health (NIH) study to advance precision nutrition. The University recently received two of 14 awards as part of the NIH Common Fund’s of Nutrition for Precision Health, powered by the All of Us Research Program (NPH). For this research, Dr. John Batsis joins Gillings’ Elizabeth Mayer-Davis, PhD, and Susan Sumner, PhD, along with fellow School of Medicine faculty Steven Cotten, PhD and Tom Keyserling, MD, MPH. The UNC Department of Nutrition is a joint department between UNC Gillings and the UNC School of Medicine.
