Faculty and students are invited to join UNC Global Affairs, the UNC Center for Aging and Health, and the Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine for a three-day multi-disciplinary symposium on “Aging and the Family,” October 14-16, in the Carolina Union, bringing together scholars and professionals from medicine, nursing, public health, social work and other fields to explore collaborative, cross-sector approaches to aging and family support. This initiative is funded by a generous grant from the Japan Foundation.

The symposium is open to all scholars (from any discipline) and professionals with an interest in aging and family support. Attendance is free of charge and includes access to all sessions, networking lunches and the Wednesday evening networking reception. However, please register for any sessions you plan to attend.
