The Future of Enhanced Recovery at UNC means that more pathways will become available for more surgeries, continuing to improve patient outcomes after surgery as the project continues to build momentum.

Enhanced Recovery has now been implemented in many populations beyond GI surgery. UNC is a leader in developing ERAS pathways and has introduced novel pathways for mastectomy and immediate reconstruction, major limb amputation, and TAVR.
