Doug Phanstiel’s proposal entitled “Identifying Alzheimer’s Disease Causal Variants and Target Genes Using iPSC-derived Microglia” has been awarded from the NIH National Institute on Aging (NIA). The objective of this proposal is to employ advanced genomic technologies to determine how genetic variation contributes to Alzheimer’s disease risk. This work will identify the key genes involved in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenicity and provide a foundation for the development of new tools to diagnose and treat Alzheimer’s disease.  Congratulations!
