Bio
Dr. Dan Park is a pediatric emergency medicine physician at the University of North Carolina. He trained in pediatrics at Yale and pediatric emergency medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He was also fellowship trained in emergency ultrasound at MUSC. He serves as the medical director of the pediatric emergency department and the director of pediatric emergency ultrasound at UNC. His interests include: point-of-care ultrasound in the setting of medical resuscitation, quality improvement in terms of operational efficiency in the emergency department, and how good design can improve patient care. He is constantly motivated to improve the care of children and strives to create an environment where he would proudly take his own children if they required emergency services. Dr. Park lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with his wife, Dr. Patsy Park, a pediatric cardiologist at Duke University, and their three girls.
